Kanye West says he wants to leave hate behind.
The “Runaway” rapper, now legally known as Ye, posted a series of messages Thursday on X, beginning with, “I am done with antisemitism.”
“I love all people,” he continued in a flurry of back-to-back posts. “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused. I forgive those who have caused me pain. Thank you God.”
Explaining what prompted the shift, he added, “I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again. Share peace. Share love.”
Though Ye has long courted controversy, his turn toward explicit bigotry began in October 2022 when he wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt during his Paris Fashion Week show.
