A judge has refused to allow the teenage killers of an elderly dog walker to be identified.
The boy, then aged 14, donned a balaclava before beating retired factory owner Bhim Kohli, 80, with a slider shoe as he cowered on his knees.
The girl, then aged 13, filmed the 'pure violence' inflicted Mr Kohli and could be heard laughing in footage recorded on her mobile phone.
Mr Kohli, who was walking his dog Rocky in a park yards from his home in Leicester when he was attacked in September last year, died the following day of his injuries.
The boy, who also kicked and punched Mr Kohli, and the girl, who the prosecution said encouraged the attack, were both convicted of manslaughter last month following a six-week trial at Leicester Crown Court.
