Biden sat down for the chat during a campaign stop in New York City. As he and Wallace began to wrap up by gabbing about his bipartisan achievements, Biden stood up, shook her hand and was seen walking off set while Wallace was still on the air.
Biden's camp was forced to run damage control after the president's strange exit received more attention than the content of his interview. Then-White House spokesman Andrew Bates took to X at the time, branding Biden's abrupt exodus as a 'power move'.
But video of the strange encounter has gone viral once again, with social media users suggesting that Biden's actions at the time could have been an early sign of cancer.
