Firebrand Republican Rep. Nancy Mace stared down a transgender teen in court on Friday after he was arrested for allegedly threatening to assassinate her in a chilling social media post.
Samuel Theodore Cain, 19 — who also goes by the name 'Roxie Wolfe' — was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with threatening the life of a public official, according to documents reviewed by Law&Crime.
The South Carolina teen allegedly posted the threat on X, declaring he was '100% dead a--' serious about carrying out the attack on Mace.
The outspoken Republican appeared in person at Cain's hearing this week, where she mocked the transgender teen and said she 'hopes they have makeup wipes in prison.'
Per a warrant from the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), Cain posted the threat on April 26 to X.
