Millions of Brits are said to be stockpiling masses of vapes in preparation for the disposable ban coming in to play from the beginning of next month.
A staggering 82 per cent of vapers - of which there are 5.6million in the UK - are getting ready for the new law prohibiting the sale of single-use e-cigarettes despite fears that the hoarded products can lead to a rise in fires.
Nearly 40 per cent said they will have enough stocked to last three months, while 28 percent said they were preparing for six months, according to new data.
All ages showed interest in stockpiling but it was 45-54-year-olds who led the way, with almost 90 per cent saying they were putting together a collection in preparation.
The Labour ban - first suggested by the Tory government last January - will come into place on June 1 after data revealed the horrifying extent of young children addicted to fruit-flavoured vapes.
