Lawyers for Sean 'Diddy' Combs requested if the rap mogul's ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura could be readily seated when she testifies against her ex in court, instead of walking to the stand in front of the jury.

An eight-and-a-half months pregnant Ventura - the victim of the notoriously violent smackdown video that was the catalyst for his arrest - is expected to take the stand in Diddy's blockbuster sex trafficking trial on Tuesday.

Marc Agnifilo, one of Combs' attorneys, made a request of District Court Judge Arun Subramanian to stop her from walking to the stand in front of potential jurors, hoping to avoid emotionally swaying from those deciding his fate.

'I'm going to ask that [Ventura], when she testifies, be already in the jury box when the jury comes in,' Agnifilo tells Subramanian.

'Only because of her physical condition. I mean, there are certain things we can't control about a juror who is eight-and-a-half months pregnant, but I think there is - there is a quality to her walking in front of the jury that I think is easily avoidable,' he added.
