Upsets continue to send long shots to Kentucky Derby, including one still winless - UPI.com

Upsets have been the hallmark of the 2025 Road to the Kentucky Derby and, while the Florida Derby and Arkansas Derby didn't produce the shockers of some earlier races, they did send relative long shots down the trail.

March 31 (UPI) -- Weekend upsets sent more long shots off to the Kentucky Derby, including one colt still seeking his first career win.

Kentucky Oaks favorite Good Cheer got some competition from preps in Florida and Arkansas. And White Abarrio, arguably America's best older horse, scored another impressive win.
